Renew, Rejuvenate and Revitalize your equine partner with Revitalizing Equine
Hello everyone! I'm Jenny, owner of Revitalizing Equine Services, LLC.
I have been an avid horse owner and lover for over 20 years located in the northeast.
After graduating from Johnson & Wales University in Equine Business Management, I went on to expand my knowledge through a variety of equine careers: working at a therapeutic riding center and working at an equine public relations company.
During this time, my own horse came up lame. After multiple veterinarian lameness exams he was finally diagnosed with a torn meniscus. Due to many factors, we decided against surgery but I wanted to find a way to help him.
In the fall of 2017 I decided to dip my toes into the equine massage world (completely unknown that it was actually a career) and attended my first equine massage course. I was hooked. From there, I attended two more courses making me a triple certified equine massage therapist. But the learning never ends. Through continuing education, shadowing practitioners and daily research, I am always continuing to learn and grow to not only help myself, but all of the incredible horses I work on.
My approach is more deep tissue/sports massage based, however massaging horses is really about what the horse wants. My goal is to work out the knots, tension and compensation to find the root of the problem, the cause, vs continuously trying to tackle secondary issues.
Through this blog and my social media, my goal is to help you as a horse owner to help YOUR horse, wether it be between professional visits or as stand alone assistance.
And lastly, while I am not focused on my clients and continuing education, I enjoy my time spoiling my three miniature horses, Rain, Two Sox & Sunny, along with showing them on the miniature horse circuit along the east coast and through the National and World level. I am also the owner of EquiRibbon Creations.
